Precision Engagement Capabilities

Located on a 105-acre site near Cincinnati, Ohio, L3Harris' facility was specifically designed and constructed to accommodate ordnance safety device work, with 236,000 square feet (nearly 5.5 acres) of modern facilities for all design, development, test and fabrication activities. A fully integrated facility, all resources, including program management, engineering and quality assurance, are located onsite to ensure complete adherence to programmatic and technical requirements.

Facilities built for quality

The state-of-the-art facility meets the quality standards of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016, Rev D. All design and development activities are performed in new, well-equipped laboratories accommodating the various technical disciplines embodied in L3Harris products. L3Harris also has on-site inspection and test capabilities to perform all required environmental test procedures, as well as dual identical modern Surface Mount Technology assembly lines for automated electronic manufacture, which enhances our ability to control scheduling and product quality. With highly flexible manufacturing operations, L3Harris can accommodate a variety of products, with run rates that can exceed 40,000 units per month down to individual production units for development/test efforts and small lot deliveries per customer requirements.
